Perhaps I was born like this  

Maybe I was nurtured 

But I’ve always got all these fears 

Like good things do not come to me    

 

And if they come I’ll find a way  

To mess them up with words I say

My heart means well, I swear!

But my mind it’s killing me.

So don't you listen to what I say

Just Feel my heart and soul 

Through songs I sing and play 

 

 

Perhaps out of all these fears, 

one comes to mind sooner

Did I just waste my whole life?

Am I just a looser?

 

 

But then I remember those words that man said 

Listening to Jim Rohn as i lay in my bed 

It’s not where wind blows that says you will prevail 

It is the set of your sail 

 

So don’t you listen to what I say

Just Feel my heart and soul

through songs I sing and play
